invitations-will it ever stop?

You may have wondered why you got an invitation for a wedding party that is already over?
-Yeah, snail mail is so slow, you missed it!

Sorry, I couldn't resist, the truth is: we Germans write the date differently. We start with the day, then comes the month (1-12) and the year at the end. 11.11.11 would be easy, but when is 6.8.11?
(no, we're not really publishing the exact date here.)

If you really want to venture across the giant (or smaller) ocean (I heard you could also swim from England ;-)) and have any questions about accomodation, transport, how your amazingly generous gifts can reach us (the greatest gift will be seeing you), please don't ask us. (well, you could, but there's someone who just can help you better, I think)
The planning address you got belongs to Antje, she is THE expert in organization and planning (we will be in her debt forever for doing all this for us) and she will be glad to help you.
